2003 Safe Boat: Hull number: EGO00276B303T1741; Trailer is a 2002 VIN: 1ZEAANYH92A010433. The Mapping vessel AHI owned by NOAA Fisheries – Pacific Island Fisheries Science Center is a 25′ inboard Diesel Safe boat built in Washington in 2003. The AHI currently is in Honolulu HI, on Ford Island. Pearl Harbor. Its engine was run on rabbit ears in the last 18 months (Likely sooner). Maintenance efforts have been ongoing as recent as December 2022, but it has not been in the water for several years. The Condition is reported as being in fair condition. The last operational inspection was in November 2016 (See attached documents). Considerations: The vessel was specially built for multibeam mapping, and would be a good platform for that type of research exploration science; Deck space is limited for the size length of the vessel; It has a cone in the keel for multibeam technology (Now outdated), which may limit the vessel s speed over ground getting on plane for long transits; PIFSC will assist as appropriate, however vessel movement shipping arrangements (site to site) will be made by the receiving party. *Note: Maintenance thorough inspection of trailer strongly recommended before towing trailer on any county roads highways; namely tire condition, bearings, etc.; There are six government property barcodes associated with this sale: CD0001062086- AHI’s hull CD0004093107- AHi’s boat trailer CD0001276234-AHI’s electronic power source- generator CD0001608954- GPS receiver Applanix Corp. CD0001697403 – GPS receiver – NAVCOM CD0004093073 – GPS Furuno; Additional support equipment mapping equipment will likely come with this vessel; In addition to the inspection documents provided, vessel history is available upon request with VOC and PIFSC staff. *NOTE: It is strongly advised that physical inspection is scheduled prior to placing a bid. Viewing is by appointment only! 10am -3 pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Must have base access clearance to get onto military installations.
